It is the ninth day of the Navratri festival which will fall on 2nd April 2020 this year.

Chaitra Navratri usually begins in March-April period and when it comes, people prefer to do Kalash Sthapana puja at their homely space and workplace.

Wake up early & take a shower.
Clean the idols and then clean the place where the Kalash has to be kept.
Now, spread a red-colored cloth on a wooden seat and chant mantras of Lord Ganesha while putting raw rice on the red cloth.
Use some soil and make an altar with it.
Now, sow Barley seeds in it.
Then, set the Kalash on the soil and pour some water in it.
Make a Swastik sign on the Kalash.
Now tie a holy thread around the neck of the Kalash.
Add betelnut and a coin in the Kalash.
Keep some mango leaves in it.
Take a coconut and tie the holy thread and cover it with a red Chunari.
Now, place this coconut over the top of Kalash and pray to the almighty God.
Offer flowers to the deities and worship them with a clear & religious mind.

This word, ‘Ek-danta’ has been used in many aartis to describe his appearance, including the Lord Ganesh Gayatri Mantra, Ganesh Aarti, Ganesh Mantra, etc… It is also one of the 108 names that we recognize Lord Ganesha with.
Lord Ganesha Penned down Mahabharat
It is believed that Lord Ganesha is the original writer of the Epic Mahabharata. It was the great sage, Vyasa that found lord Ganesha worthy of understanding the Mahabharata. This is why he decided to narrate Mahabharata to Lord Ganesha and then asked him to write in down without any interruptions. Stories also say that when the feather quill broke down, Ganesha broke his tusk and wrote the rest of Mahabharata.
