  • Risk Taking – Risk Taking here, is not in terms of legality but monetary. You must never take any legal risks because it can lead you to end up in jail. But, when it comes to monetary terms, you must from time to time invest money in your firm and show maximum confidence. But, a good entrepreneur also knows that over-confidence is a deadly thing to do so avoid it. Risk taking in monetary terms can be healthy but do not forget to apply for your business pan card.

Why do people pray to Lord Ganesha before praying to any other God?

Lord Ganesha also known as Ganpati is one of the most famous gods in India. He is not only given a priority on one of his own festivals but is also prayed to on almost all festivals and before any other god.
Some reasons why people pray to Lord Ganesha before praying to any other God include:
  • Lord Ganesh is the first deity to have taken birth. In the Ganpati Upanishad, a verse states, “Avirbhutancha sristyadau prakriteh purushaat param” meaning Lord Ganesha appeared even before the creation of prakriti(nature) and purusha(consciousness). This verse basically states the appearance of Ganesha after the destruction of the current materialistic world and before the beginning of the new creation. Now this naturally makes him the first choice for worship. You can simply chant the Ganesha Aarti before any other prayers to any other gods or you could even chant the Ganesh Vandana.
Ganesh Mantra – Om Gan Ganapataye Namo Namaha. Shri Siddhivinayaka Namo Namaha. Ashtavinayaka Namo Namaha. Ganpati Bappa Morya.
  • Lord Ganesha is also prayed to first because he brings happiness in everyone’s lives. He helps individuals in removing all obstacles from their lives. Lord Ganesha also provides one with wisdom, prosperity, and attainment.
  • Yogic Beliefs state that Lord Ganesha is first prayed to with the Ganesha Aartibefore praying to any other god. This is because rules Muldhara Chakra.According to this belief, human life is segregated in 2 parts – Materalistic and Spiritual and Lord Ganesha is the one who rules both these worlds.
You must chant the Ganesh Vandana from time to time only to pray to Lord Ganesha who can make life simple, happy, and prosperous.
It is also believed that Lord Ganesha is the divine power that controls the lives of all humans. And as a matter of fact, we all pray to Lord Ganesha on every festival but hardly did any of us know why! We have often chanted the Ganesha Aarti, Ganesh Mantra, Ganesh Gayatri Mantra, and the Ganesh Vandana but hardly do we know the meaning of any.

Why is Lord Hanuman called ‘Sankat Mochan’? – Tentaran

Sankat Mochan, meaning, ‘reliever from troubles’ or ‘remover of difficulties’ is a name dedicated to Hanuman Ji. Coming back to why he is called ‘Sankat Mochan‘ is because, this name fits absolutely perfect in describing his personality. Lord Hanuman, one whom we pray to by addressing the Hanuman Chalisa in Hindi, is popularily known for his crucial character that he plays in Ramayana.
Sankat Mochan
Sankat Mochan is a highly fitting name for Hanuman Ji as his devotees believe that he removes all their troubles in life. His devotees believe that he fixes all their problems and finds a clear path for them to live peacefully on. Below are some instances where Hamunan Ji is called ‘Sankat Mochan’.
  • Rama, the central character of Ramayana, was the first to overcome his difficulties with the help of Hanuman Ji. Although Hanuman ji is believed to be Sri Rama’s greatest devotee but he was also the one to help Sri Rama in fighting Ravan to rescue Sita from his imprisonment.
  • Hanuman Ji also worked to put in some sense into Sugriva. The story goes that Sri Rama helped Sugriva by getting rid of his angry brother, Vali. Lord Sri Rama asked Sugriva to make a promise to him that he would help him rescue Sita in return for this. Later, Sugriva was declared to sit on the throne and later, when Sita was imprisoned by Ravan, Sri Rama asked Sugriva for help. This is when Sugriva denied to help Sri Rama. This made Sri Rama furious and that is when Hanuman Ji stepped in as Sankat Mochan and helped save Sugriva from Sri Rama’s anger by convincing him to fight for Sita.
  • Hanuman Ji also played a role in calming Sita during her imprisonment where she was spending her days in anguish. Hanuman Ji came to Sri Lanka looking for Sita and found her in Asokavan where he gave Lord Ram’s ring as proof of his ambassadorship. He again lived out to his name as Sankat Mochan when he further pacified her stating that Lord Rama would rescue her soon.
  • Again, during a battle, when Lakshman fell unconscious, it was Hanuman Ji who flew in search for the Sanjivini herb. And because it was difficult for him to find the exact herb, he uprooted the entire hill and carried it to the battle field, only to rescue Lakshman.
Well, these are instances from the Ramayana that prove that Hanuman Ji is truly the Ultimate Sankat Mochan and one can pray to him by addressing the Hanuman Chalisa in Hindi. You can also close your eyes and meditate, keeping Hanuman Ji in your mind.

So, in the Treta Yuga, Goddess Vaishnavi aka Mata Rani was created to destroy the wicked and tyrannical rule of the demons.
Another story that has travelled through time is that as a child too, Mata Rani was into the devotional service of Lord Vishnu. She carried this habit of hers till her adulthood and later asked Lord Vishnu to marry her after which, Lord Vishnu approached her in his ‘Ram’ avatar and told her that he was in search of his wife, Sita, who had been abducted by Ravan.
He also told her that he would definitely return to her and if she recognizes him then, then she could marry him. Years later, when Lord Vishnu in a disguise of an old man asked for her hand in marriage, she denied, thinking that he was undesirable by his look and age. She failed to recognize him but Lord Rama granted her the boon that in his 10th incarnation of Lord Kalki, he would marry her. He asked Goddess Vaishnavi to wait for him till his 10th incarnation on the Trikuta Mountain and gave her a troop of his monkey army for her protection.
